Judy Laxague is a founding member of the Rappahannock POPS Orchestra and has served on the board as Vice-President and President. She has held the position Librarian for the orchestra and chorus for the past 11 years. She is currently a realtor with Exit Real Estate Professionals, where she teaches Real Estate Pre-licensing courses; is owner of Aristocrat Cruises and Tours; and is retired, after 38 years, from Federal Law Enforcement.
Ms. Laxague is very active in the Arts community of the Rappahannock Region. She currently sings with the St. Matthews Family Choir, which recently traveled to Europe; was a founding member and current singer with the Spotsylvanians Community Chorus; and is a member of the Spotlighters. She also has performed with the Stafford Regional Chorus; St. Mary's Adult Choir; Joysong Choral; and National Physicians Chorus. She currently serves on the board of the Arts and Cultural Council of the Rappahannock, and is assisting with the Strings Without Borders initiative in area schools.
